A Landscape Painting, "Illusion of Distance"

by Marlin Lopez
(Solano, NUeva Vizcaya, Philippines)

Acrylic

Acrylic

My first painting done when I was graduating student during my high school days, its my high school project. I copied this scene to a picture in my grand parents house but I destroy the picture after I finished the painting. I gave this painting away as a birthday present to my best friend. Though its a small painting it reminds me of how I was motivated to become an abstract artist. The title of this painting was given by my teacher, he called ILLUSION OF DISTANCE. After I graduated in College I continued painting. My high school teacher was my true mentor in painting.
