City Scapes, painting red balloons
Red balloons painting, cityscape.
A tribute to a dear Aunt. Elements within the work were significant to her. The 42nd street, blue shoes, red balloons, and the restaurant name, "Maxines". This was a commissioned piece that hung in her home for years, and now resides with her daughter and family.
My favorite part was capturing the translucent film of the red balloons. The perspective and cityscape worked out well. This was a small painting, but you could still see the texture of the brick work on the wall and sidewalk!
Hopefully you will enjoy viewing it as much as I in creating it.
