This is a picture used for one of my demonstrations. As you can see, it is but a simple single daffodil flower. It's from a neighbors front yard, (where I get a great deal of inspiration!). She helped me establish our garden with bulbs, cuttings, sprouts, etc. She knows all the Latin names and common names and goes to great lengths in trying to teach them to me. It, unfortunately goes in one ear and out the next. Remembering plant names is just really hard for me. I try to pay attention on how to grow them, and then my brain shuts down. Same thing happened when I was in school learning math! Anyway, I am still so grateful for her kindness. The native plants she gives us, lambs ear, lavender, etc, and other perennials have always been a great pleasure to see come back year after year. I'll post again some more, especially as I dig them out of my old files.
