My first time :D, Moth Orchid Painting

My first attempt at oil painting, after finding this site I was ecstatic, finally somebody was generous enough to share their knowledge on how to indulge in this amazing medium. Its always been a life long dream of mine, to paint a masterpiece :D And while following the instructions about the various layers, I have learned some valuable lessons and am I now hooked for life on turpentine. I mean oil painting. And hopefully in a couple of years I can start on that masterpiece!

I have much to learn but it’s such an exciting journey that I can hardly wait for the layers too dry….cant I use a hairdryer to speed it up? :P jk Thanks you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience!
