Reflection of Memory

I started painting 2 years ago August of 2009, after seeing several Bob Ross programs, I thought I can do that...(What was I thinking?)....Any way it was easy & I became hooked. But I became bored with doing landscapes all the time...So I painted animals for a while, They are good maybe not great, they at least look like the animal I was trying for..Then this past January I started with still life....I was doing these in the style of alla prima, finishing them too soon. I wanted something I could work on for awhile. I finally found this site. this is my first painting using this style, It took me about a week to complete, I really like this style of painting, even though I have to put the brakes on so that I don't rush the steps. I have touched up the painting here and there since I first photographed it, like the saying goes...."A Painting is never finished till it leaves the studio"......Thanks for letting me share my painting with you
