Tree Leaves, Maple Leaves, Fall Leaves

by the Artist
(Somewhere near the Blue Ridge Mountains)

Tree Leaves, Maple Leaves, Fall Leaves

Tree Leaves, Maple Leaves, Fall Leaves

Fall leaves are such a wonder here in central Virginia. Every year, the mountains become on fire with color. Maple leaves, and other tree leaves turn a wide variety of colors. I've done several paintings along this scheme, and I'm gonna share one photo that is going to be used for my next leaf painting.

This set was picked from the ground just prior to a full change. Some of the green is still there, and the red's are beginning to creep in. It makes for a really nice composition and I hope you'll try it!
