Here's your latest edition of Easy Oils Blast! A blast of new information, paintings and demonstrations in oil painting.

As the holidays close in on us, and we prepare for them, here's a few small demo's for you now, then later this month I have 3 more to bring to you.

A Short talk on painting a series of paintings.

As you become more confident in your painting, at some point, you'll want to explore a subject more fully. More still life setups never have just one good setup. But rather, there are usually several. Check it out. The closeups will help you when you try an apple in your next work.

Orange Flower Painting "Salmon Azalea", a changeup.

Ever finish a painting, send it to the gallery, and something kept buggin you about it. This article talks about what I did to keep the BUZZZZZZ high in this work to help it find a home!

Your great contributions!

Here are three wonderful examples of some great paintings that have been submitted.

Two are from the Still life section of the site. Same artist in both paintings, using the Flemish technique!

The first is called Harvest: Click here to see it. This is so appropriate for the upcoming Thanksgiving Holidays.

The second work is found here!

And the 3rd great example, but a different artist is found on this page. It's within Your paintings portion of the site.

You can read my comments on each page. Please add your own comments about the work too, and if you have a painting you'd like to show off, why not upload it to the site!

You'll also notice something under each painting too! It's talked about below. I'm soooo excited about this image based site, see below!

Pinterest, whats that?

You will find throughout the site a new button. They will look similar to one of these below:

Follow Me on Pinterest

Follow Me on Pinterest

Follow Me on Pinterest

What are they all about? This is a social media site similar to facebook, or tweeter, but it's based on images only. This is an artist's dream! Soooo many pictures, but not enough time to see them all.

The buttons above send you to my page, but once your registered, you'll have your own page to set up and start collecting your favorite images!

If you really like a painting or image found on the site (Easy Oil Techniques), feel free to push that little button underneath the image!

It will post the image to the Pinterest site. You do need to go through a simple registration process, but you will not be disappointed. The pictures available are simple amazing and will truly get your creative juices flowing with ideas for your next painting project!

Great Feedback!

I've heard from several customers that have given me feedback on my new product. I'm pretty excited about this new E-book and all the new features within it. Most of the features will be incorporated into my original E-book, but that will be months away.

Heck, I'm still trying to get pictures ready for my Christmas show at "The Little Gallery".

Here's what some have written:

"As good as, if not better than previous purchases. Thank You!!" Hank***

"Highly recommended art instruction from a highly recommended seller!!" Suzie***

(Real people, emails kept on file.)

If you haven't had a chance to check out the information page on this technique and the landscape painting, Click here to get more informed.

Facebook Like it please!

Don't forget the great addition to the site is the Facebook application!

If you're a Facebook Fan, then you'll appreciate this. You can "like" a page, and comment on it's contents so your Facebook friends can see what all the hub-bub is about, and where you spend your valuable hours learning on how to paint great things!

Spread the word! Click on the like buttons and give me your comments on the site! You don't even have to leave the site, it's all right there for your convenience.

And our readers love 'em!

I'm now on Twitter! I find that if you reply to me rather then direct message (DM), I'll be able to find you easier. I get so much spam these days, I rarely check my direct messages in twitter any longer.

You can follow me, and I'll follow you back, but do reply to me that you are following so's I can follow you back! just tweet an "@delmus" in your tweet box!

Well I hope the information was useful to you. Future ezines will be in a similar format, just different information.

Let me know what you think! Have I helped you in any way? Twitter me, or drop me an email. I would love to see some of your work!

Till next time!

This is Delmus Phelps wishing you a happy painting day!

PS

If you missed the 1st issue of the ezine, you can get it here, Ezine Back Issues.
