Hello!
Table of Contents
What we'll cover this month!
* The different Color Wheels.
* Color Mixing Guide.
* Sending subliminal messages in your work.
* Movie Camera info!
* Offerings
Did you know there are a number of different color wheels? In my studies, I have found that two are used the most. One in which I was taught around, and the other is the latest science that is now moving into the painting realm. You can find the information here
at Color Wheel discoveries.
You can't mix your own colors until you understand some of the theory that is in the paint! Or you will end up with mud on the canvas!
I've expanded this color study to include an article about sending subliminal messages within your artwork using color schemes. If you don't believe me, just watch a little tv and notice the color used in certain commercials. Especially the food and snack commercials. Then read the article, after you've finished puttin down that double quarter pounder with cheese!
Read all about it here
The Psychology of Color
Before we get off the subject, I get a lot of questions on how and what colors to mix and use. I think I covered it all here on
my Color Mixing Guide.
I'm still needing some of my viewers input. There is no clear winner in what subject matter to choose for my first video! For those that have already voted, thank you! I don't think I'll need a recount, (no missing chads etc.) LOL, but the numbers are showing a dead heat, tie, between still life with fruit or a flower blossom! I'll leave the survey up for a few more weeks to see if we have a clear winner. I've got a survey here
Video Workshop Subject preference
that you can give me your vote.
Don't wait too long, cause I am really really itch'n to get started with one of these! Just fill in your preference of video subject matter in the very last block, fruit, or flower!
For those of you that are looking for a special gift for someone, or you would like to see up close, very up close, some of my originals. Then check out some of my offerings at this neat online store called "Etsy". I just set this up and am really excited over the community of fellow artisans there! Here's the link to my store:

Enjoy!
I'm now on Twitter! I find that if you reply to me rather then direct message (DM), I'll be able to find you easier. I get so much spam these days, I rarely check my direct messages in twitter any longer. You can follow me, and I'll follow you back, but do reply to me that you are following so's I can follow you back! just tweet an "@delmus" in your tweet box!
Well I hope the information was useful to you. Future ezines will be in a similar format, just different information.
Let me know what you think! Have I helped you in any way?
Twitter me, or drop me an email. I would love to see some of your work!
Till next time!
This is Delmus Phelps wishing you a happy painting day!
PS
If you missed the 1st issue of the ezine, you can get it
