So lets get started in this months edition!
(From last month, still working it) Lets talk a little about the direction of the site. Some upcoming additions will be on a few other art forms.
I will be putting a whole series of articles up for graphite art and drawing soon. I am hoping to include demonstrations also, as drawing is such a popular hobby that goes hand in hand with oil painting. Even though todays artist can use a variety of mechanical and electronic/photographic methods to get their subject onto the canvas, nothing can beat the feeling of being able to do it free hand!
(Fresh Material) I've discovered I ran out of storage space for some of my paintings! So, lets see what I'm going to do about it. It's really a fantastic idea, but at the same time frightening! Sort of like the Apollos Chariot (tallest roller coaster on east coast of the US) at Busch Gardens Amusement Park. Right now, I'm on the bottom of the track and we're just starting to head up to the top of the first drop. Clink, clink, clink, clink goes the chain hauling us up, I'm realizing I'm afraid of heights, and my heart is beginning to pump a little faster....
Check out the last section for more details on this exciting part of the site!
