My tulips are bustin loose, and the daffodils. But along with that, the grass now looks like a university fertilizer experiment. It's gotten so high, the cat gets lost! Before I get out there and begin mowing the lawn, I thought I'd better drop you a line to tell you about the new things at Easy Oil Painting Techniques.

Home page update.

I've updated the home page a little in case you haven't checked it out lately. I include some comments on why I believe oil paint is one of the best materials available, even after hundreds of years of other products coming along. Do read up on it to help you in your materials decisions.

Plein Air Painting, what's it all about?

Jewels from the submissions section.

There have been some heart touching comments left in the section under "How do you know you are an artist" Go check them out! Its from the nav bar, "How to sell art". Or you can click the link below. I'm sure there are others out there that could really expand on this. Don't be shy, give us your thoughts. How do you really know you are an artist.

Flower Painting

I've expanded this section in a discussion about flower painting and arrangement. Early on in my career, I would have this great painting about completed when I would realize that something just didn't look right. I would opine (yea, I had to look it up too) away the hours of how great this painting was gonna be, but yet, it just didn't mesh. When this happens, it's 99% the composition out of tilt. So, don't get to far ahead of yourself with that flower painting, and check out how to start it off correctly the first time! Flower painting and arranging

My e-book.

If you haven't tried it already, don't get left behind. This truly is a bargain. I offer the e-book with bonus material here

But now for a short time, I'm offering just the e-book for folks that have a

Tablet.

That's a hand held reading device like the "Kindle", that allows purchases of books that can be read virtually anywhere! I don't think you will find a better bargain for this complete art lesson including all the photos!
