[New Stuff at Easy Oil Painting!], Issue #002 --Boy! have we got a lot to cover!
August 21, 2009
Hello!

Table of Contents

What we'll cover this month!

* History of the Rose

* Elementary Art Lessons

* How to paint flowers

* Shortcut article

* New demonstrations in the pipeline.

* Upcoming Video's

By now, I hope you've had a chance to see my 1st experimental video. It's located on the home page here! I'm working on subject matter for the recording. Can't decide between a still life of a few fruit, strawberries maybe? Or small floral, like a single rose. I've got a survey here Quick Survey that you can give me your vote.

Don't wait too long, cause I am really itch'in to get started with one of these! Just fill in the information and in the last block, put your video preference subject matter in it.

Now for the new pages:

An article on the History of the Rose. And a nice article on the rose color meaning, as part of my increasing information about the worlds most favorite flower.

I also began to give some elementary art lessons beginning with form. And a new section on How to Paint Flowers that I think you will enjoy.

I also forgot to add to last months ezine a shortcut article. It's located here! It talks about shortcuts to paint a flemish style painting in 5 days or less.

I am happy to let you know also, I have several demo's (pictures not video's yet) that I'll be posting when completed. Here are some photo's of the subject matter.

The Orchid, Hydrangea, and Antique Rose are now in various stages of completion, and I'll get them up to the site as I'm completing them.

One last tidbit, I'm now on Twitter! It's really a great place to chat, and you'll find me there most days between paint sessions, unless I'm with the kids at their soccer matches!

You can follow me, and I'll follow you back!

Well I hope the information was useful to you. Future ezines will be in a similar format, just different information.

Let me know what you think! Have I helped you in any way? Twitter me, or drop me an email. I would love to see some of your work!

Till next time!

This is Delmus Phelps wishing you a happy painting day!
