The technique i used on this paint was mix the colors with a lot of medium, to become more liquid and moved it in different directions until i got the effect that i want then when its dry after few days i paint the bright colors on top choosing the topic i feel i need to add.

Hard Life, an abstract portrait painting
This painting took me a few months to feel satisfied with it and feel that I had enough.
I know it may not have been produced in a professional way like the way you teach us through your program. It's just what I did at the beginning while teaching myself by myself.
Now I am trying to learn the good technique from your lessons.
The story behind this painting is that I am always feeling hurt from this life. It has always been unfair to me. Lets say just between me and myself, so that's why I name it "Hard Life."
I used canvas and oil paint.
Editors Note:
Hopefully your journey in this life will be a road easier traveled. I can feel the pain in the picture and this I think is your intent. Sort of like a "hell in earth" scenario. Well done! The 2nd photo has a much brighter color to it and I know you are pleased with your work. I especially like the contrasting colors that are presented.
Thank you for sharing the work and the story behind it.
