I'm 84 and this is my first alla Prima painting. This is a Bob Ross inspired painting.
It is on an 16X20 cheap canvas just laying around that I could learn with and painted with Bob Ross paints.
I surprised myself with the result and though it has a lot of flaws I thought that it turned out well for my first painting in this style. I am encouraged to try more landscapes as that is how it should be for all painters learning to improve.
Also, It was painted in 4 hours.
