My Grand Children/

I have visited a lot of homes through the years and almost all of these homes have beautiful pictures (photos) of the family and also the grandchildren, on their walls.

That was the main reason for me to start looking for another way of showing off my grandchildren.

And by 'showing off' I mean just plain adoring my love ones!

That is what started my expedition of how to paint portraits! And let me tell you that was not as easy as I thought it would be.

I bought from Delmus quite a number of books on oil painting . And that helped me a lot. but to me painting a beautiful flower the way Delmus teaches us was a walk in the park to the way I had to ...teach myself... doing portraits!

But with the knowledge that Delmus teaches in his oil painting lessons, I at last manage to came through for myself

Also because I desperately wanted to make the pictures look exactly like the photo of each of them. It took me on each photo about 2 weeks,(about 4-5 hours at a time) and of-course, many corrections !!

At last the painted pictures of my 3 grandchildren where finished. Its is done in OIL.

I would love to post it here and I would also love that you DELMUS ...seeing that I am in fact a student of yours gave your opinion as well as those on this page.

Hi Hannie! I would love too! Who would have thought you even had grand children, much less grown beautiful grand women! You are indeed blessed.

The paintings a beautiful, and I'm sure the likenesses are there. Your family must be very proud of you and your accomplishments.

These are going to look very nice on your homes walls as a grouping. They are indeed very glamorous images.
