I know its here some where. I caught a glimpse of it but now for the life of me can't find it. If someone can give me the url to the page I will be so grateful.

Editors Note:

You are so right! There used to be a full section devoted to this. But alas, my web guru told me I was giving away to much information, and throwing out a great incentive for my e-book.

Well, I hope I've reached a good compromise here!

And do let me know what you think!

best wishes, and happy painting!

how long on the easel
by: URSULA

Hello again,I am wondering how long do you let a painting stay on the easel until you are inspired to finish it. I have a few that I am going to finish as soon as I can get to my easel, with no interruptions. Thank you again

Hi Ursula! Some times a painting will set against the wall for several months, and like most things, inspiration waxes and wains sometimes until I review the reference material again, and deeply think if I am accomplishing what I first felt when I started the work.

And there are a few, mostly abstracts oil paintings, that will probably sit in the corner of my studio until, well, I get the abstract itch.

which may be years from now! ;)

Thanks for writing!

Wow!!! This is so beautiful, your lessons and steps are so straight forward and easy to understand, I love the way you can see the shine on each droplet.

Keep this a secret
by: Delmus

I hope this answers that burning question on, How do you paint that?

I'll try to dig up some additional links to a few forums that I participate in that also have some great examples.

Best wishes, and don't forget to show us your work!
