To use different mediums in drawing/paintings, is an experience itself! In order to master this, I used calming music to calm me down, that's when my concentation is at it's best. I prefer drawing/ painting in the mornings, seeing that's when my mind is 'charged' and full of possible ideas. Here is a few of pen and ink drawings, and I think it is best to get them framed, seeing they are all filed in a folder, and to me that is a sin! It is time to show the world what I got! Mostly these drawings is more excersise to the rhytm of the music.

I love Leonardo Da Vinci's works, and used his book of 'DANCERS', to copy his drawings, and put my own color to it. My twin-daughters love art just as much as I do, and decided to make their bedroom theme about ballerins. These paintings are not for sale, seeing it is copies, but it also have a personal touch to it, based on each of the twins' personality. The pink painting is Tonnisha's, seeing she is a real lady, soft in personality, and she's creative with her hands, too. The balerina in purples, is Marshann's and she is a 'tomboy', but love arts very much! They have made their own (small) painting, abstract, but unfortunately, they gave it to their teacher in 2010, as a gift, just before starting high-scholl this year, after I got it framed! I've teached myself how to draw and paint (mostly oil-paints), and will load up my works, and would love your comments about it!

Painting is very interesting, taking how many different colours it needs to get the effects I want. Here in South Africa, is a 'library' full of different cultures, rural touches to it, and interesting themes to make up for which ever project I have in mind. Painting wet-over-dry is my favourite technique, but wet-onto-wet, is just as much fun. Most of the time, my paintings tell their own story, but I am impressed myself with the results! I hope you'll find my work interesting, NOT BORING!
